The research suggests that project management costs take between 7% and 11% of the project’s total installed cost, for smaller SBIR/STTR projects, TOC suggests an allocation of between 5-7% of the contract value. Contact us to discuss specifics.
Is this done remotely?
Most of the work is remote; there are several face to face meetings such as the kickoff planning meeting, customer reviews, demonstrations, final report preparation
Can we get assistance with the budget?
Yes, we can help with the direct labor rate, fringe, overhead, and G&A rate justification.
How do you lead the project planning activity?
We begin with a review of the contract deliverables, basis of estimate, schedule and budgets to establish a baseline. This is compared to the negotiated contract value, deliverable schedule and invoicing plan (to evaluate cast flow). Adjustments are made to meet contractual deliverables and remain profitable. We then interview team to create specific tasking, labor hours/task and deliverable commitments. Weekly, we interview the performing team to validate accomplishments versus the plan. The schedule is updated and reviewed with the management team to assess any off-schedule predictions that will be addressed to bring the project back on track.
